At Kanyakwar CBO, we believe that every child and young person deserves the opportunity to thrive. That’s why we go beyond short-term aid — we provide long-term support in education, health, and empowerment to help them build a brighter future.

Health & Wellness

We promote better health outcomes through HIV/AIDS prevention, regular support groups, and reproductive health education. Our programs focus on medication adherence, stigma reduction, and improving the overall well-being of vulnerable individuals, especially those living with HIV.

Education Support

Education is a powerful equalizer. We support orphans and vulnerable children by covering school fees, providing uniforms and books, and linking youth to vocational and tertiary training, giving every child a chance to learn, grow, and succeed.

Water, Sanitation & Hygiene (WASH)

We improve access to clean water and sanitation facilities in underserved areas to reduce disease and promote dignity. Our interventions help prevent waterborne illnesses, especially among children and the elderly, leading to healthier communities.

Economic Empowerment

We equip widows, youth, and caregivers with the skills and resources needed to build sustainable livelihoods. Through financial literacy, business training, seed capital, and practical skills like tailoring and soap-making, we help families lift themselves out of poverty.

Youth & Girls Empowerment

We advocate for the rights and well-being of adolescents, especially girls. Our programs provide replica watches for sale sexual and reproductive health education, distribute sanitary pads, and offer mentorship that encourages young people to make informed life choices.

Community Partnerships

We collaborate with government agencies, local leaders, and development partners to ensure our interventions are sustainable and impactful. Our partners include SOS Children’s Village, Kenya Breweries Ltd, and The Ministry of Health — all working with us to build a stronger, more resilient Kanyakwar.
